NeXTMail should be avoided whenever possible, much as I hate to
say it. I can handle it on my HPUX accounts fine and am willing
to share my tools with those who need them, so that NeXTMail is
less painful for them, but there are a few concerns which have
been voiced to me about message sizes. Anything that would be
large (attachments, whatever) should be sent directly to me and
then I'll put it up for ftp. Those who can't ftp or use ftpmail
can request that I forward the NeXTMail on to them, which I will
do, of course. From the subscription messages I got, though,
more than half the list can deal with NeXTMail, so if you have
an outstanding reason for it, I don't see why not. Just keep
the message size small. Does that seem fitting for most?
